“You lost both wings?” Ted asks the older guy. “How does that even happen?”
Wry smile on lips, the senior cupid clamps two shaky hands around his steaming cup of tea, “When you get old and wobbly, you’ll understand.”
Half a millennium later, an old and wobbly Ted will find himself sharing tea with a young, newly winged recruit poking his nose into Cupid Remedial Camp.
